This is to notify you that the Annual General Meeting of the Club will take place on

WEDNESDAY 22^nd OCTOBER 2008 at 7.30p.m. in the CLUBHOUSE.

Any Proposals for rule changes and nominations for Club Officers, General Committee Members and Captains of various teams must be in John Whitehead’s hands by 15^th October. John can accept nominations in writing, by email or by telephone. Any nomination must be proposed and seconded by a voting member and must have permission from the nominated person.

No proposals received so far.

1. Committee, Officers and Captains

All Officers and Captains retire at the AGM but are eligible for re-election (subject to nomination).

There are 5 Officials of the Club (President, Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer and Child Welfare Officer) and the Club Captain (1^st XI Captain) who constitute “The Officers of the Club”.

There are then 6 General Committee members who are generally elected for 2 years, 3 retiring each year. These are eligible for re-nomination.

At the 2008 AGM the position (so far) is:-

President : E G Clarkson  - standing again

Chairman : H B Webster   -   NOT standing again

Secretary : P Shorter  -  standing again

Treasurer : J Whitehead    -   standing again

C.W.O. : C Saul  -   NOT standing again

Captain : G Shorter  -  NOT standing again
